Unbelivable!!!! Clinton graduated 2009!!!

Clinton is my little sister, Danelle's oldest child. He has made us so proud. He had a HUGE heart and is very compassionate. He has grown up in the country and is a typical country boy. He loves trucks, fishing, hunting and horses. He has been on the Oregon High School Equestrian Team (OHSET) and a member of the High School Rodeo. Brian has been the horse trailer driver and support in many of these events. They have been all over Oregon for rodeos. Clint is a header in team roping. He is an amazing kid that will go far in life. He loves people and loves to help and laugh. He is a great cousin for my boys. They really look UP to Clinton and we love that. God is a big part of his life. He spent the weekend with us at the beach recently and had such a great time. He plans on going to college with some scholarships he earned in high school.

WE LOVE CLINTON and wish him the best in whatever he decides to do as a career!!!!

Grant lost his 1st teeth!

Grant proudly lost his first tooth at Rockaway Beach. He tried for weeks to wiggle it out and finally gave it a big twist! He screamed and ran to find daddy because they had many talks about that tooth. A few days later his second one came out. The new ones are already starting to show! You have to be quick with the camera! What a milestone. His class celebrates missing teeth with a song and a certificate. He will be ready now for first grade next year..... More to follow when those big top ones come out!!!

All I can say to all those folks with girls out there.... Boys rule when it comes to potty breaks while travelling in the car:):):) Gotta Love it!

Here are some pictures from Sadie's first doodle romp. It is a play date for dogs in a secure area in Portland. The dogs are Labradoodles or Goldendoodles. Some are large and some are smaller breeds. It is a fun time to see the dogs interact with each other. Randy has the squirt bottle on hand in case he needs it, but for the most part the dogs loved it. Kelli and Randy organize this fun time and so far over 20 doodles attend! Kelli and Randy rescued Sadie (our pup) and were her foster parents. We ended up adopting her through IDOG.

Let me take a minute and tell you about Kelli and Randy. We are so proud of them. They are Portland school teachers for 1st and 2nd graders. After they married, they completed gradutate school together. They work very hard and are passionate about kids. They love their families and are very close. They have a great doodle dog, Leo and cat, Henry. We love hanging out with them because they are so positive and truly make a difference in lives. Also, they love God and are crazy about each other!

May we learn from each other and live life to the fullest!!!

GREAT WOLF LODGE MARCH 2009

Yes it snowed while we were at the lodge. Our room was above the cars on the right:)

The arcade was a blast. This is Grant's favorite game -- jumpin' jackpot to 'the music'.

The waterslide was 7 stories high! Yes, mom even climbed the stairs a few times.

This is the chute you come out of at the end of the big water slide. So much fun :)

The wave pool-- when the wolf howls, the waves start like the ocean, but WARM...

The bucket dumps 1,000 gallons of water every 5 minutes and you get super soaked.

Tall enough for some water slides, but not quite tall enough for the Howlin' Tornado. :( Maybe next trip.

Every year we do something special with the Christmas money that we save and this year it was Great Wolf Lodge near Olympia. The ads on TV made the boys crazy. It is a great big, fun indoor waterpark. We all enjoy the water so much. The temperature at the park is 84 degrees so it is nice and toasty. The rooms are very nice and cozy. It was a fun break to get away and relax. They had a nice arcade and a MagicQuest game. The boys had wands that would activate items you had to hunt for all over the lodge. They had storytime by the big clock at 9pm. It was a great family trip.

We love GREAT WOLF!

Homemade Pizza!

I came up with this wild idea to have a homemade pizza night. The boys talked about it for two days. I remember when I was a kid, we had these Apian Way pizza kits we would buy in the store and make our not so good cardboard type pizzas at home. I don't have a dough recipe, so I bought the pizza dough at Winco. We weren't sure how it would turn out because I bought it a couple of days ahead and we kept hearing exploding in our refrigerator:) We would look and the wrapper would have a hole in it..... Maybe you aren't supposed to keep them for a couple days. Finally, pizza night came and it was a big hit. We made 4 small pizzas and each of us were able to put on our own toppings. They were yummy. All of the boys LOVE pizza, but making it ourselves just seemed to hit the spot. I even got my boys in shirts for a picture.
